@NaPoWriMo has come and gone, and I want to take a minute to acknowledge everyone who participated. If you wrote just 1 poem or made it to 30, give yourself a pat on the back. Writing ain't easy. It's a process and a skill we learn and develop the more we do it. May your words stay sharp!
Hello all! I'm back, one last time, for my "Best Of" series. I like to do a final one after NaPo is over, to showcase my some pieces from the ENTIRE MONTH. This will include pieces that may have been in the other Best Of editions, and some people will be featured more than once in this. It isn't that one deviant has more poems that I like more than others, but I try to scroll each gallery folder and find some gems to share. This may be a longer feature than the previous, so buckle up ! Best of NaPoWriMo 2022: oof, what a doozy of a feature lol I hope you guys take a moment to peruse through some of these. There's some unbelievable talent in this group, I swear. I just wanna say thanks to EVERYONE who has participated this year, it was an honor to host you all once again. Be on the lookout for the Completionists journal either today or tomorrow :) Much Love, -M- @NaPoWriMo
Hey, everybody! We're back with our 4th installment of "Best of NaPo 2021". You know the deal by now! This is not the full list of poems submitted (there's WAY too many to do that), nor does it mean these are the only good ones. This is just a small snapshot of all the lovely pieces that are floating within the gallery. So if you want to see more, go give the gallery a peek. In the mean time, on to the feature.

words can roar #4 / april 2022 / napo special
Well. It’s been awhile. Welcome to the NaPo 2022 special of words can roar. Last year, as April loomed close, I felt sudden and intense stress about my writing. Was what I was producing as good as my first NaPo in 2020? It was too much. I posted about three pieces in the official @NaPoWriMo group before informing everyone in the group I would be dropping out. But I did finish it on my own, and looking back, most of my fears about my own writing were unfounded. Who cares, anyways? I’m not having to make my living off this. Lol. I hesitantly came back to DA this April, totally unsure if the same stress would come back. But I did it! Yay! You can see my completed NaPo journal here. When the stress did come back on, the great people on the NaPo Discord server set me straight a time or two. I have to thank everyone for making up such an amazing community. I can honestly say I am looking forward to many more NaPos to come! 🖤 Okay. Y’all are done hearing about me. Y’all are ready to
Hello all! We are back for the next installment of Best of NaPo 2022! This is celebration of the wonderful writers who do their best to push through NaPoWriMo. Again, this is not the full list of poems submitted (there's WAY too many to do that). This is just a small snapshot of all the lovely pieces that are floating within the gallery. So if you want to see more, go give the gallery a peek. This also isn't a journal to showcase the "best" writer. These are just ones that I manage to catch when I peruse the gallery -- or as I'm accepting pieces I may click on one and read it right then. In the mean time, on to the feature. Best of NaPoWriMo 2022: Week 3 Please give these pieces a looksie, as they are well worth the read . I will be back with Best of Week 4 at the end of NaPoWriMo! And I will also follow that up with a "Best of NaPo 2022" as well :D -M- @NaPoWriMo

Note (this will be cross posted on my page AND CrLit, probably) This is something I started in Napo 2017, and we got tons of positive feedback...SO I'm bringing it back again this year. Each week, I will do a big feature showcasing submissions I read that struck me in some way! (Or in this case, a bit of everything from the gallery cause there's just so many good pieces, that I can't possibly pick really). Note: if there's a piece of your own OR someone else's that is submitted for any particular week, you can note the group OR me -- and I'll make sure to include it This is celebration of the wonderful writers who do their best to push through NaPoWriMo. One last thing! If your piece doesn't show up, please don't despair. This isn't a journal to showcase the "best" writer. These are just ones that I manage to catch when I peruse the gallery -- or as I'm accepting pieces I may click on one and read it right then. If you want a particular piece that you're proud of included, just send
